Two Bedford College students have their next life stages set for RADA, the world famous school of dramatic arts.

Both will be studying Technical Theatre and Stage Management with a view to careers behind the scenes. They will be joining at least three other former Bedford College students currently studying at RADA.

Kaylan Bone, 19, of Cranfield and Euan Davies, 20, of Great Gransden, Cambs have won places at the prestigious school after studying Production Arts at Bedford College’s South Bank Arts Centre.

In addition a cast of other students, with range of skills and talents have won places at nationally recognised performing arts schools like Mountview, LAMDA, Rose Bruford and East 15. More have gone on to universities running the best courses in the country.

Former Bedford College students include Marcus Ayton, recently in Bill Kenwright’s version of the musical Joseph, and Igor Smith who was in the Regents Park production of Peter Pan.

Links with real work experience in local events and activities is a valuable feature of courses at Bedford College. Euan has worked with the long established musical team the Marianettes at the Trinity Theatre off Bromham Road and Kaylan has assisted at The Place on Bradgate Road.
