Passion Play filming

Monday 21 March 2016

There have been many film productions of the story of Jesus. Bedford College students will be making their own, based on The Passion Play being staged in Bedford town centre on Easter Saturday (26 March).

They will be acting as the location film crew following the procession from Church Square to the Castle Mound crucifixion.

One student will be playing a key role in the production as apostle Peter. Film and Media student Peter McDonald-Ryder of Thurleigh is a semi-professional actor now training in behind the camera work at the award-winning Bedford College.

In addition to filming the actual event, students will be creating documentaries as part of their College course work.

Photo shows students (with Peter in blue hat) and staff members who have given up hours of their spare time to get involved and support the project.
