Art alone is not enough

Young people seeking places at the best art schools and universities need more than a school A Level in Art.

The sought-after Higher Education art establishments seek a wide breadth of creative skills which can be practised as part of the One Year Foundation Arts Diploma(FAD) available at Bedford College’s South Bank Centre.

Bedford College has an unrivalled reputation among Higher Education Universities and Colleges for its delivery of creative training with students. They beat university entrants at national competitions such as D and D www.dandad.org year after year and in 2016 have been invited to exhibit at the New Designers event.

“We have been told again and again by students that their preferred university said they need more than the A Level Art and that FAD was going the extra mile,” says Director for the Arts Sue Blackman.
